Private Training
We will address all questions the owner has and the issues they are experiencing, then we will discuss canine behavior and basic training theory. We will then move to the practical side of training and behavior by demonstrating simple but effective exercises for owners to practice with their dogs.
The first lesson is an hour and a half. Sessions after that are an hour long. We can also meet at a park or work in other public places after discussing the specifics of the dog’s behavior and what is best for them.

Board and Train
2 to 5 weeks
Additional weeks may be added.
After the initial Board and Train program, dogs are welcomed back for any duration of time.
We can provide pick up and drop off services, but welcome and encourage owners to visit our home in the Los Padres National Forest.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate severe separation anxiety or dog aggression for Board and Train services.
Living in a real home with two trainers includes:
- Potty Training and Crate Training
- House Manners such as jumping up, begging, chewing, barking, counter surfing, and hyperactivity
- Basic to Advanced Training with generalization of commands with distractions
- Socialization with people and dogs
- Regular hikes in the surrounding National Forest
The Board and Train program also includes:
- An hour long session upon drop off at the dog’s home
- Two hour long in home sessions upon completion of the 3 week Board and Train program
- Unlimited hour long sessions at our home during any Board and Train reservation
